A Deco-AI agent consists of clear technical layers. For each layer we define who has access, what may change and how recovery works.
The four layers
From your foundation to the lab.
Your foundation
The agent runs on hardware and accounts registered to your company. Often a small office computer with encrypted storage and a backup is enough. You own the foundation; we set it up and secure it.
The protected core
On top of the foundation sits Deco Core: the set of tested skills the agent works with. The agent cannot modify this protected core itself. Every version carries a checksum, so deviations show up fast and we can roll back to the last approved version.
Your custom layer
Above that live the workflows built and trained specifically for your business: your document style, your quotes, your customer language. This custom work is yours and goes with you if we ever part ways.
The lab
New ideas get a separate, writable playground with test data. Experiments can't break anything there; only after testing, review and your approval does something move into the protected core.
Control
Control is visibly built in.
- Access
- We manage remotely through our own named service account over an encrypted connection. Your passwords stay with you. Every management session is logged, and you can disable access yourself.
- External actions
- Emails, quotes and orders sit ready until a human approves them. One stop command immediately blocks the next run of every active automation.
- Budget
- AI usage runs through accounts in your company's name. We agree budget limits, alerts and hard stops. Autonomous work gets fixed time and repetition limits.
- Acceptance
- Before the agent goes into production, it passes agreed technical acceptance tests. Among other things we test the protected core, lab separation, backup restore, rollback and a customer-data export. The monthly service starts after successful acceptance.
- Recovery
- The proposal fixes the frequency of health checks, backup verification and recovery tests. That keeps restoring a well-rehearsed routine.
